- Horniman Museum – Cost Free – a bit different from other museums, this museum is best known for its giant stuffed walrus. Opened in 1901, it houses collections of animals, musical instruments and more. It also offers unique events as well.
- Crystal Palace Park – Cost Free – Though not technically a museum, this park in South London is infamous for its full size dinosaur sculptures. It does also host a museum on site where you can learn more about the park and its history.
- Museum of London Docklands – Cost Free – the river Thames has played an important role in the history of London and the region throughout history. Here you can learn more about it. From the first settlers in Roman times to today, exhibits help tell the story of what the Thames did for the city and the people who lived and worked here through the ages.
