Whether you love the snow or hate it, here are some of the best areas to travel this winter.
Hawaii – Winter is a great time of the year to visit the Hawaiian Islands. While it can cost a bit more during this time of the year, the weather is ideal, the temperatures mild and the activities numerous, a great way to escape for anyone.
St Martin – Always a popular destination, during this time of the year, St. Martin offers its best weather and some fantastic events especially in the next few months as a number of festivals kick off, as does Carnival. Again, like Hawaii, you will likely have a harder time finding great deals, but you will be hard pressed to beat the weather.
Key West – Beautiful year round, winter is a great time to visit most Florida destinations as far as weather goes, but it also offers a tropical paradise without the cost of the far out Caribbean hot spots or other destinations in the South Pacific.
Australia – Gorgeous this time of year, Australia is filled with amazing summer events, destinations and of course blue skies throughout. Hit the waves, enjoy the surf, explore the outback or just relax at any of the amazing accommodations found throughout this amazing destination.
Vail – You certainly wont find an escape from the cold here, however, you will find plenty to do and lots of sun as well. Sandwiched between two mountains, this is one of North America’s most noted and popular areas for winter adventures. Thousands of miles of trails for snowshoeing, skiing and snowboarding and world class mountains and resorts, Vail is always a top winter destination for travel.
Banff – Part of the Canadian Rockies, Banff is like Switzerland of Canada. Great outdoor adventures await at this world class winter hot spot.
